Oakley is a 14 month old male GSP who was surrendered by his owner due to lack of time to spend with him. He is a young boy with quite a bit of energy and needs a family that can keep him busy and active. Due to being a younger boy he will need reinforcement on basic obedience but is quite a quick learner and even knows some tricks! He is housetrained, as well as crate trained.
Oakley is being fostered in the Toledo area where he is living with other dogs, cats and children. He is doing quite well with the other dogs, is ignoring the cats and enjoys the children. Due to his energy level and exuberance we think that Oakley would do well in a home with children over the age of 6.
Please note: DUE TO THE LARGE VOLUME OF EMAILS RECEIVED, AN APPLICATION MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE WE CAN ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS CONCERNING OUR PETS. Thank you for understanding. The Application must be submitted and approved to adopt one of our dogs. An application submitted tells us you are serious about adopting, not just window shopping.
A $350.00 donation applies to most of the dogs in our program. The donation goes towards spaying/neutering, vaccinations, medications, heartworm preventative or treatment, worming medication, Microchipping, food and grooming supplies.
