Norman (Kitten)'s Story...
My name is Norman. I am 3 1/2 months old (birthdate 7-18-14). I am a beautifully marked black & white male kitten. My mom, siblings, and I were rescued from a kill shelter because there was no room for all of us and we were too tiny to be on our own. I was the smallest one of the litter and they were worried about me at first. But now I have grown leaps and bounds and am as big as my siblings. I am very active and playful. I love to chase the other cats/kittens at my foster home and wrestle with them. I also like to play "hide and seek" and will jump out at anything that walks by. I get along well with other cats/kittens as well as kids, but have never been around dogs. My cuteness will steal your heart. Won't you please give me the forever home I deserve? If you are interested in meeting or adopting Norman, please contact his foster, Sue, at 419-250-0846. - See more at: http://www.plannedpethood.org/cats/available.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Norman (Kitten), a Toledo Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
