My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kiakea! Kiakea was relinquished to us because his owner changed jobs and no longer has the time to devote to him. He was purchased as a puppy from a breeder and has been trained since he was just a little pup. He is now a big boy at right around 85 pounds. He is 2 1/2 years old.

He is very smart and loving. The family who adopts him will need to commit to his continued training. He has been neutered, house trained, crate trained(night sleep), obedience trained and loves to work for you as he wants to please you. He was also tested to see if he would make a good gun dog and he is loaded with a ton of natural skill.
Kiakea will do best in a home with a strong "pack leader".
Because he is still young and can be rambunctious, we will not place him in a home with children. He IS good with children, but his size and strength are just too much for children because he is still learning manners, such as not jumping up when he gets excited.
He prefers to be indoors with his family; and like any Weim, he will not do well in a home where he is left alone for 8 hours a day. He loves to play fetch and loves to hike, he is very obedient on the trail while off leash.
