This adorable little boys is Tobi. He is an 7 mo old Chocolate Lab/BC mix who has a very sad story. Back in July we were contacted by a local shelter we work with regularly in WV asking if there is any way we can help with this puppy that was brought in with 2 broken back legs. There was no hesitation when we said we would take him & ask that he be taken asap to our vet. Little Tobi was brought to our vet the next day where his injuries were assessed & it was determined that he was severely beaten, surgery was scheduled for the next day. He spent 4 weeks recovering at the hospital & than went to stay with an amazing foster mom where he has completely recovered & learned to trust people again. Tobi is utd on all shots, neutered, & will be microchipped as soon as he arrives in NJ on the 15th. Tobi loves other dogs & is great with children. He is initially hesitant of strangers due to his abuse but warms up quickly. We are not sure how he is with cats however.
