Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Monkey Man! He is just the cutest thing we've ever seen! Monkey is a FANTASTIC dog in every way! He is great with other dogs, great with kids, and great with cats! Monkey is around 12lbs and 6 years old. Don't let his age fool you though he is full of life and the perfect mix between happy and playful and cuddly and chill. He is crate trained, house trained, and good on a leash! He would be find in an apartment or would love a backyard to run around in. He would also be a good only dog or totally fine with other dogs as well. He isn't going to be a good companion for another dog though if you are looking for someone to run through the backyard and play with your dog.
Monkey came to our rescue after a life time of itching and hair loss. We spent months trying to diagnose him and have finally come to a diagnosis. He has a genetic skin disorder that can be treated with cyclosporin. If you're interested in learning more about what that means and what his treatment will look like we'd love to fill you in on the details. Trust me you don't want to miss out on this great dog for a totally treatable skin condition.
Monkey is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. He is currently fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but is not picky about where he ends up as long as he is an inside dog and loved.
