Duchess's Story...
Hi I'm Duchess. I was left at Friends Forever with my boyfriend Duke (who was already adopted) in 2013. A lady saw me and Duke running the streets for a while and then finally picked us up and brought us to the rescue, so we don’t have to run the streets anymore. I am very sweet and get along with all dogs. I'm very affectionate with people and I am not shy at all. I am about 4 years old. I am potty trained and crate trained. I am the type of dog that will watch TV with you and then go on a good walk or run. Won't you open your heart and home to me?

If you are interested in adopting a dog please go to our website- friendsforeverrescue.com – and fill out an online application or call Dee Chess at 786-229-9002. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duchess, a Palmetto Bay Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Palmetto Bay, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Palmetto Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palmetto Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palmetto Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palmetto Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
