Chloe's Story...
Our gorgeous Chloe is a sleek, healthy 4 year old female that is a purr-monster and head butter to the max! This picture does not do justice to her gorgeous markings and beyond soft, sleek coat. She is truly a beautiful cat!
Though Chloe is very loving she is not a quiet "couch potato" . .she is active and loves to play. She really needs to have someone who will give her play time on a regular basis. . .though as she ages she is quieting down a bit. Chloe could possibly be good with another cat, depending on the other cat and the home situation. Ideally another cat should be one who can match her play level, yet will not be dominant and will be laid back. We do not recommend her for a home with very young children. She has been around dogs. . . but they have been mellow, older dogs.

Chloe is very healthy; has been tested for Felv/FIV, spayed and deflead. She has not had a vaccine since she was about 5 months old, since she had a severe reaction to this. Because of this, numerous vets have told us, never to vaccinate her again. This is a must for adopting Chloe. However, since she would be indoor only and is healthy, we do not see a reason for vaccinating her any more.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a San Clemente Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in San Clemente, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in San Clemente.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Clemente already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Clemente breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Clemente paves the way for another one to be saved.
