Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Carter is a sweet and loveable one year old Boxer boy who was found as a stray. After nobody claimed him at the shelter, he was turned over to B.A.R.C. for rehabilitation and placement. He is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines and will be ready for adoption after he is neutered. He was underweight when he first got to his foster home but he is gaining weight and you can tell he is feeling much better and happier, and his coat is gorgeous.
Carter LOVES belly scratches and cuddling with you and he loves to play and go for long walks. Carter also enjoys running around the yard with his foster sisters. He seems content when he gets a lot of exercise and equally content cuddling watching TV. He gets along well with the cats in his foster home. Carter walks well on the leash but could use slight improvement. He doesn’t bark that much unless you ignore him for too long. He is smart and quick to learn commands. He is fully crate trained and housebroken. Carter would do well in a home where he is the only dog and gets all the attention, but he would prefer to be in a home with at least one other dog to play with. Are you Carter's new best friend? Carter is being fostered in the Milton area.
