Miss Lucy is an amazing ferret. She is sweet, sweet, sweet. She loves crawling under the covers. She hops all over the floor and she is fun. You play like you are going to grab her and she will tussle with you. Put her on her back and rub her tummy. She loves dogs.

She does not bite. Sometimes while you are sitting on the floor doing something she will scamper across your lap. She loves to climb on you when you sit on the floor.

She LOVES her Beanie babies. You put beanie babies strategically on the floor and she will carry them to her hiding spot. She will fall asleep on your lap after an hour or so of hard playing.

If she is getting into something and you yell her name she will give you her defiant look. This most amazingly cute little thing staring up at a ginormous human.

Lucy has the beginning of adrenal disease, which 75% of ferrets will get in their lifetimes. It is not life threatening unless untreated. Treatment for now is a melatonin implant every four months. Her next implant is due in February. I do the implants at the rescue for $40. Eventually adrenal surgery is a good idea or a Deselorelin implant. My vet in Cartersville does the surgery for $248. The rescue will pay $75 toward the surgery.

There are always ferrets for adoption through the rescue and ferret / small animal supplies for sale. All ferrets at the rescue have received their distemper vaccinations and been treated for worms, ear mites and fleas. They are handled frequently and taught not to bite and constantly being taught to use the litter box or newspaper. I also know their likes and dislikes, so you don't have to experiment with food, toys and such.

Free to an excellent home. She does NOT come with a cage, though I have cages for sale for cheap. She does come with enough food and soup for at least a week and some toys. She needs to go home with enough food and soup for a month. Other supplies for sale for cheap, including: water bottles, litter boxes, leashes, harnesses, shampoo, Ferretone, books, nail trimmers, toys, hammocks, sleep sacks, and much more!
