Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Spencer, the cutest little Shih Tzu mix. This dog is incredibly sweet, intelligent, friendly and great with people/kids. Spencer is curious about cats and LOVES other dogs (any size; my biggest is 58 lbs, and Spencer holds his own!). He would do best with another playful dog in the household. He is only 13 lbs and has hair rather than fur (great for those who have allergies). In addition he doesn't shed much. Like any small dog, he needs to go out a little more often, but except for a couple accidents early on, we have been working on it and he seems to be pretty well house trained at this point. Spencer was just neutered last month and is now current on all his shots and microchipped (which will be registered to you). Recently groomed pretty short by necessity (to remove all the knots). At 7 1/2 months, his previous owners mentioned they never had him groomed (see before picture). It would seem they didn't bother to brush him either. He was tested for both Heartworm and Lyme and is negative. Received first dose of monthly flea/tick treatment and heartworm/lyme preventative tablet. There is no fee for adopting him except for reimbursement on vet visit, neutering, etc. I do individual volunteer dog rescuing and can provide support documentation from LiFeline Adoptions Inc., who I volunteer for and who did this courtesy posting.
