Kenja's Story...
Hi, my name is Kenja. I am a 4 year old girl that is longing for my forever home. I was found on the street with my mommy and 2 sisters. My mom and one of my sisters were adopted, but as for my sister Godiva and I; we are still up for adoption. We have grown so attached that our foster mom wants us to be adopted together. I have changed a lot since I was first rescued. I used to be scared and like to be by myself. If you met me now you would not think I am the same dog. I love to be with people at all times and love to play. I am completely potty trained and I also know how to sit and give paw.

If you are interested in adopting me please go to our website- friendsforeverrescue.com – and fill out an online application or call Dee Chess at (786)-229 9002. Then email us to check on the status of your application. Please make sure all areas of the application are filled out. This will make the adoption process go faster. You can also come and see some of our pets every Saturday from 10-4 at Petsmart- 13621 S Dixie Hwy, Miami, FL 33176. Won't you open your heart and home to me?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kenja, a Palmetto Bay Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Palmetto Bay, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Palmetto Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palmetto Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palmetto Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palmetto Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
