My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our foster dogs live as family members in the foster home until chosen for adoption. For more information you can contact Christina by emailing her at ryrysma@hotmail.com or call 513-739-1363.

Frenchie's mother, Zelda was found wandering as a stray with her ten adorable puppies. Amazingly for a stray, Zelda and all her puppies were completely healthy when they were found and are thriving and growing.

There are five females who happen to be the five darkest colored puppies: two black, two black brindle, and one dark brown. They all have white chests and markings.

The puppies are getting all the education that is good for them at this age. They’ve been exposed to toddlers, cats, noise, vacuums, other dogs, and people. One of their favorite things to do is play with their foster kitten siblings, which is hilarious to watch. They are starting to explore their surroundings and learning that almost anything can be a toy. Their personalities and energy levels are starting to emerge too.

We estimate the puppies were at least two weeks old when they were found in mid-October, so they should be about 8 weeks old and ready for adoption around Thanksgiving. They will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and get some of their vaccines. Their adoption fee is only $20 each, yes, just twenty dollars!

We don’t know who the dad was, but we suspect there are multiple fathers for this litter since they look so different. Lab, pit bull, collie, and shepherd have all been suggested as possibilities—but who knows? We do know that they are sweet, adorable, playful, healthy puppies that will make amazing dogs!

Zelda will also be available for adoption a few weeks after the puppies leave. She’ll need a little time to recover before being spayed. She is young; the vet estimates under a year and a half old. She has plenty of years of life to live and is already house-trained.

If you are interested in adopting one of these puppies or their mother, please fill out an application. If your application is approved, we will arrange a meeting. At that point, the puppies’ foster will work with you to pick the right one based on their personalities and your lifestyle.
