My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Updated Bio-11-5-14 Ginger Spice. Ginger is a 10 year old adorable, sweet, and loving 12 pound little girl. She is being fostered in Leesburg, FL.

Ginger Spice has made herself right at home with her new foster family. She is now up to date on all her vaccinations. She was heartworm negative, and found to be in great health. She may be ten years old, but she is as healthy as a much younger dog.

We knew her teeth were in bad shape and caused her a lot of pain. She had her dental and 17 teeth had to be removed, but she still has four left and does just fine with all her food, even her kibble. Her bad teeth were causing her to have some trouble breathing and that has cleared up.

Ginger Spice doesn't play much with toys or with her foster sisters, but she loves to be with her foster mom and follows her all over the house. She does not bother with the cats at all. She is so quiet, has not barked once, and is very laid back and just a real love. She is house trained and sleeps all night in her doggie bed, next to her foster mom and dad's bed.

Ginger Spice has been through enough. She has moved homes four times. She needs to have a final place to call home for the rest of her life. If you can be that person who can give Ginger Spice her last and forever home, and love her for the rest of her days then she might just be the right girl for you.

Initial bio 10-30-14 Ginger Spice came to us just today. Ginger is a 10 year old sweetheart. She is a little bit on the chubby side, at about 12 pounds, but she couldn't be any cuter. She is being fostered in Leesburg, FL.

Ginger Spice arrived in her new foster home today and has already settled in. She is very sweet and very friendly. Ginger Spice is going to the vet tomorrow. She will be getting a dental, and may lose a bunch of teeth. She will also be getting all her vaccinations. She is house trained and leash trained. She was great in the car on the ride to her new foster family. Ginger Spice is getting along just fine with her new foster sisters and even the cat, but she would be just as happy to be an only dog with a person home a lot.

Ginger Spice needs to probably lose about 2 pounds. She doesn't know it yet, but she's now on a diet. She is an absolutely adorable little girl. And just check out those ears. One is up and one is down. How cute is that.

More coming soon on Ginger Spice after her vet visit. We already know this girl is going to be a great pup for some lucky family.
