Barney's Story...
Barney is 1-year old playful, goofy Corgi mix (possibly shepherd as well) we rescued from Glenn County. If his foster had to use two words to describe him they'd be 'friendly' and 'happy.' The little guy seems to know no other state! Whenever you are up and about he is right there ready to share some love. He's a quiet guy and hasn't had an accident in the house. Recently he had a great time at Fort Funston, where he loved meeting new people (offering up his belly for rubs). He gives deference to other dogs and doesn't care about being top dog. In the house, once he has given you a good greeting, he is happy to just hang out in your general presence. He is a real companion dog. Once in the crate (he would rather not go there since he knows you won't be going there with him) he settles downs down and does well all night long but would prefer to be where the people are

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barney, a Sunnyvale Corgi/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Sunnyvale, or seeking a Corgi/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Sunnyvale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sunnyvale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sunnyvale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Corgi/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sunnyvale paves the way for another one to be saved.
