Ginger's Story...
Ginger is an ultra sweet, submissive 5-month old tan & brindle pit mix puppy we rescued at the very last minute from Tracy. She's very friendly and loves being cuddled. She's done great with all the people (adults, kids), horses, cats, and dogs she's met. She's got typical puppy energy but it's not over the top. This darling, curious girl will keep you smiling as she 'hops' around the yard (she'll run and then hop in the air as if she's catching a ball...but there's no ball). She's learned the commands for sit, shake, and down already. She sleeps quietly in her crate through the night and is doing well with her potty training. She had no other options, so we stepped up...but she needs a foster.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Sunnyvale American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Sunnyvale, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Sunnyvale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sunnyvale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sunnyvale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sunnyvale paves the way for another one to be saved.
