SAINT's Story...
This BEAUTIFUL, FUN PUP is Saint aka Buddy and he is a German Shepherd mix. Buddy is VERY SWEET and PLAYFUL so he is looking for a fun and active family. He thought he had his forever home but it seems he had too much energy for an older family so was returned Oct. 25th. He was adopted again but it appears he may have some separation anxiety so needs a home where he will not be left alone all day. This CUTIE appears to know sit, stay, shake and lie down. Buddy is about 10 mos old and currently weighs 58 lbs. He is current on vaccines, neutered, micro chipped and heartworm tested negative so he is ready to go home with you today. His ID is 570765 and he is in run 107.

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SAINT, a Marietta German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Marietta, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
