Shnitzel's Story...
Shnitzel is a beautiful Labrador/ Hound mix that was originally rescued from the pound, and adopted to a wonderful family! Unfortunately, she is not fitting into their household, so we are trying to find her another home that is more suitable for her needs.
Shnitzel's family has taken very good care of her, and she is in good health.
She has been spayed, is up to date with vaccinations, and is on Heartworm preventative. Shnitzel has also gone through obedience class with a private trainer. She has been micro-chipped. We are estimating that she was born in 2011, and she weighs about 45 lbs. She prefers a home without small children,or cats. Shnitzel will require a fenced in yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shnitzel, a Pleasant Plain Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Pleasant Plain, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Pleasant Plain.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pleasant Plain already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pleasant Plain breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pleasant Plain paves the way for another one to be saved.
