Offered by Barbette - 503-232-8862. ROSIE is very urgent - she has a long story but suffice it to say, she needs a good home NOW, somewhere where her adopter (or foster) is a firm handler and is experienced with dominant dogs. She is a Catahoula blend about 1.5 years old. Her adoption fee is only $125 PLUS I'm throwing in a one hour training session with my behaviorist who is marvelous (Denise Mullinex).....she barks aggressively while on leash or while in the house at dogs (females) and needs further work to overcome this behavior. She is VERY sweet with humans and very loyal. Just super energetic - would be best in a home with an active person (jogger or runner who can take her out with them so that she can get tons of exercise)....I think she needs to be an only dog/pet in the home. I am going to put her in boarding this week (and I can't afford this). I really need help finding someone experienced and good with dominant females. I also don't want to put her into boarding as it will set her back. I believe that she can learn in the right hands of someone who is patient and experienced OR is willing to learn and is tenacious.
