Hi there! My name is Snickers! I'm about 2-3 years old and I weigh about 15 lbs.
I was found as a stray near the Ohio/Pennsylvania boarder in the East End area of East Liverpool. I was found with my best pal, Sherman.
We were apparently dumped out there by our owners who must not have wanted us anymore. I couldn't tell you why they didn't want us anymore because we are both really super nice and very sweet fellows.
Although my pal is is great shape, I came in to the pound as a filthy, matted up mess. One of the pound volunteers groomed me up the best she could, then took me to the groomer to be finished and to get a nice bath. Now I look and feel so much better!!
I am a great boy. I am quiet most of the time and I'm a real good boy in my kennel. It appears that I'm likely housebroken as I keep my kennel clean at night and I don't have accidents when I'm in the office either.
I get along well with the other dogs I have met here at the pound so far too.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
