Hi there!! My name is Scooter! I'm around 1 year old and I weigh about 10 lbs.
I was found as a stray in New Waterford by the police and was brought in to the pound.
I'm the cutest little guy, like, EVER... yet here I sit, unclaimed by my owner. I guess they must not want me anymore or maybe they just dumped me, which is what happens to so many dogs that end up here at the pound.
Like most terriers, I do have my fair share of energy and mischievousness, but I am the sweetest little fellow you could ever hope to meet.
When I am in the office, I will bark a couple of the times at strangers when they first walk in, but then I happily jump in their arms and kiss their faces.
I love sitting on laps, cuddling and giving kisses! I also love to help you with your work tying on the computer as I have tried to help this lady type my bio by walking across the keyboard about 10 times while she is typing. She told me nobody would be able to read it though, so I guess I just gotta tell her what to write...gee whiz...
I get along well with other dogs. Sometimes the big huge dogs scare me so I'll act defensively at first, but once I realize they're not going to hurt me, I do just fine with them.
I absolutely love to play with toys! I run all around and toss them up in the air! I'm told that this is just simply adorable. If you're looking for an awesome little dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me!
I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER NOVEMBER 9, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
