Dulce's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Dulce's Story...
Sweet Dulce is approx 2-3 yrs old and 13 lbs. She is just the sweetest little girl. She looks like a Tibetan terrier mix. When we rescued her, her coat was so matted we had to shave her, but she has a very pretty gray and black coat that was quite long. She has been treated for heart worms and is on a monthly preventative. She seems to be quite well house trained, does well on a leash and gets along with all of the other rescues. She is quiet and well behaved and just loves to eat… she is a really very nice dog.

The total adoption cost of $425 includes the required interstate health certificate and transport ($225), spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a pre paid registration($200). The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. All our dogs are in foster care, there is no physical shelter. Some have not yet arrived in PA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dulce, a Allentown Tibetan Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Tibetan Terrier for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Tibetan Terrier dog from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Tibetan Terrier breeders who help with Tibetan Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
