My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our precious 3 year old Pit Bull, Duchess. Duchess hasn't been given the best life, she has lived her entire 2 years of life on a chain. When we found Duchess(at her previous owners house), her chain was so tight it was choking her and she couldn't breath, her tongue was already turning blue. We approached her owners to let them know the situation and we also contacted the authorities, we ended up having to cut her collar off. They signed her over to us because they could not provide her proper care. So on that day in September, Duchess was freed from her life of a chain.

Upon her first vet visit she tested positive for heart worms. She is currently going through heart worm treatment and we hope she makes a full recovery. Duchess has the most beautiful eyes, one partial blue and the other is green, so rare and beautiful. Duchess is very sweet and great with children and other dogs. She is very strong and likes to pull when walking on a leash so we are working on that.
