Rusty's Story...
Rusty is a year old miniature Schnauzer mix and he is the sweetest little guy, weighing just 22 pounds. Rusty doesn’t have some of the characteristics of his breed in that he is very calm, not nervous or hyper at all. He gets along well with other dogs and cats. Rescued by our sister organization in Mexico he has been neutered, dewormed and current on all vaccinations. Rusty is currently awaiting his fur-ever family while in foster care in Edmonton. If you are ready to make Rusty part of your family contact us at info.pvca@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty, a Edmonton Miniature Schnauzer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Schnauzer for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Miniature Schnauzer puppy from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Schnauzer breeders who help with Miniature Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
