Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gabe was dropped off with his sibling at an overcrowded shelter in South Carolina when he was about 5 months old. They were very scared and shy and were on the list to be put down when we stepped in and spoke for them. Gabe and his sister Gabbie stayed at a wonderful foster home for a few months waiting for two spots to open up here. Away from the noisy shelter environment they came right out of their shells and got lots of love and attention. They did great with the foster’s toddler grandson. Although Gabe can be quite the goofball and loves to play, he is very gentle with kids. Gabbie has already been adopted and is doing great in her new home. Gabe has made lots of other dog friends here and would love to have a canine brother or sister in his new home or at least some good playtime at the dog park or with other dogs in the neighborhood. Gabe is now almost a year old and weighs 50 lbs. He is such a stunning dog and has quite a regal air about him although he is truly a gentle goofy sweetheart. Gabe is affectionate and will not mind lots of hugs from his new family. He rides great in the car and does excellent on lead. We would love to introduce you to Gabe and see if he is the one to make your home complete! The first step in our process is the adoption application. Our form can be completed on line at www.cedarfarmrescue.com . After you have submitted the form please call us at 336.251.8877 to ask any questions and set up a time to meet Gabe. We have an adoption center in downtown Mocksville but are there by appointment only, so you must call first. Gabe is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his shots. He is crate-trained and housebroken. He has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. He does fine with our cats. 9165e
