My story

Pocahontas would love to spend this Thanksgiving with a forever family! She was dropped off at the shelter for unknown reasons and was thankful to get out of there but will be sooooo happy to find a real home. She is a great little dog, a bit shy at an initial meeting but a loving lap dog once she gets to know you – and that does not take long. She has a heart of gold and will be a wonderful companion. Pocahontas walks great on leash. She is crate-trained and housebroken. She is quiet and would do wonderfully in a townhome or apartment. We have not seen her with children. She is ok with our cats. Pocahontas has been spayed and microchipped. She is up to date on her shots. She weighs 10 lbs. and is one year old. She has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
