Momas's Story...
Hello. We are Rain and Momas, two adorable chihuahua mix girls. We used to have a family, but unfortunately, they moved and didn't take us with them. We are currently adjusting to our foster home and looking for our forever family. We have always been together and need to stay together. We are up to date on shots and microchipped. We will be spayed before we go to our new home. Rain is 3 and Momas is 5. They both seem to like other dogs, cats, and kids. They are potty and kennel trained. They enjoy walks and do great in the car. Their foster Mom describes them as a quiet and hassle free pair. Momas is the thinner of the 2. She loves to snuggle and is the more outgoing of the 2. Rain is a bit shyer but once she warms up she is such a sweet girl.

If you would like to add two sweet girls to your family, please email The Rescue Project at kcpetfinder@hotmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Momas, a Overland Park Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
