Hardy's Story...
Hi! My name is Hardy. I'm a 6 month old Domestic short hair. I have been neutered, micro-chipped, de-wormed and up to date on my vaccinations. I will require a rabies vaccine after I am adopted.

I came into the shelter with a broken leg and It needed to be amputated. I have had it removed and I am very excited to go to my new home! Don't worry about me getting around the vet says it'll be a snap. I already am practising walking on three legs! One last thing, I was a stray from the RM of Britannia so I cannot go back to a home in that area. Hope to meet you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hardy, a Lloydminster Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lloydminster, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lloydminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lloydminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lloydminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lloydminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
