RUDY's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

RUDY's Story...
RUDY IS THE COMPLETE PACKAGE. HE IS HOUSE TRAINED, GREAT WITH COMMANDS, WALKS WELL ON A LEASH, DOES WELL IN A CAR, CAN BE CRATED IF NEEDED, AND LOVES TO BECOME YOUR CUDDLE BUDDY AT NIGHT.

WE REALLY DO NOT KNOW WHY ANYONE WOULD GIVE RUDY UP, BUT THEY DID. HE FOUND HIMSELF IN A RURAL KILL SHELTER. WE DO HOWEVER KNOW THAT HE WAS INVOLVED IN SOME KIND OF ACCIDENT IN HIS PAST MOST LIKELY A HIT & RUN WITH A CAR. HE LIMPS FROM TIME TO TIME ON HIS BACK LEG OF COURSE THE MORE ACTIVE HE IS THE MORE IT SHOWS. RUDY HAD A BREAK IN HIS LEG THAT HEALED INCORRECTLY. HIS BACK LEG NOW SITS ON A 90 DEGREE ANGLE. iT IS ONLY EVIDENT AFTER HE IS RUNNING WITH THE OTHER DOGS OR GOING ON LONGER WALKS.

RUDY IS A REAL CHARMING GUY. EVERYONE THAT MEETS HIM LOVES HIM. THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT HIS GENTLE YET FRIENDLY DEMEANOR THAT WINS EVERYONE OVER. RUDY WOULD MAKE A GREAT ADDITION TO PRETTY MUCH ANY FAMILY. HE WOULD ALSO MAKE A GREAT PUP FOR THE FIRST TIME DOG OWNER

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RUDY, a Wappingers Border Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Wappingers, or seeking a Border Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Wappingers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wappingers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wappingers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Border Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wappingers paves the way for another one to be saved.
