Mindy Harvey's Story...
If you are interested in viewing or adopting this kitty, please go to Click Here and fill out an application.

Mindy is a black cat except for a tiny patch of white fur on her neck, and a few white hairs on her back. Her fur is plush and velvety-soft, and she has large expressive yellow eyes. She loves to be petted, have her ears massaged and her cheeks scratched. She will slide her head under your hand to show she wants more attention, and will give you gentle little kisses and a tiny nip to thank you. Mindy is a purring machine!

She has lived as an indoor-only kitty her whole life and she doesn't even have a tattoo in her ear! Her favourite toy is a little fur mouse, which she carries proudly around the house. She likes to share the mouse by placing it on the bed during the night. Mindy will follow you like a puppy around the house. When you sit, she will sit beside you, placing her front paws daintily on your legs. If you are looking for a snuggle buddy to share your life, this is the kitty for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mindy Harvey, a Vancouver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
