Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oh, hello there. My name is Ozzie, it is so nice to meet you. You may have guessed by my bat-ears that I am a Chihuahua. Indeed, I am a petite little fella, and am currently a bit underweight at around 4lbs.
Not long ago, I was going to be dumped at a shelter when my humans didn’t want me anymore. My body was achy and thin, and my fleas had fleas. Life was not comfortable at all. I thought all hope was lost, until I got to NBS Animal Rescue. The volunteers there are helping me get veterinary care, food and love until I find a fur-ever home. My auburn coat feels much better all clean and flea-free. They let me have chicken too so I can put a little weight on. It is so nice to learn what love is like.
Although I don’t sing in a band, I do “sing” when I would like a little extra attention. If you could just scratch right behind my radar ears, that would be wonderful. Also, I like comfy blankets and being up high. My foster mom put a doggy bed on her desk for me. I’m small so I don’t take up much room, but it is nice to be close. Also, I am *rocking* the potty training set, and am doing great with crate training. I walk gently on a leash, and still don’t really know what to do with toys. I do get scared sometimes of men, and sudden movements remind me of my terrible past. I would love a home where someone would teach me what it is like to play and romp around. That would just be pawesome!
If you think I could be your little rockstar, please fill out an application at www.NBSAnimalRescue.com
to be my VIP. Well, have a good day and rock on my new friends!
Love,
Ozzie
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.
If you think that I might be the perfect addition to your family, please contact the awesome volunteers at N.B.S. Animal Rescue at nbsanimalrescue@gmail.com for any additional information or answers to any questions you might have.
You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.
While I hope that you have fallen in love with me and will fill out an adoption application right away, I understand if I might not be the perfect pup for your family. Would you please help me by sharing my picture and information on your Facebook page, or e-mail to your friends and family members? I'm a great pup and I really deserve a loving family to give all of my love and puppy kisses to! Thank-you for your help!
