Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Candy is a gorgeous, sweet, playful, and fun, three-year-old, female, amber-eyed buff tabby cat looking for a loving guardian.
Super lovable Candy was found pregnant and living in a steel mill. The employees took pity on her and fed her from their lunch boxes until rescue could be found. She is now living in a foster home … all seven of her adorable kittens found homes, now it’s Candy’s turn.
Candy is an incredibly affectionate and people-loving cat. She just loves to follow her foster mom all over the house, and she purrs when you hold her.
She is living with seven other cats in her foster home with whom she co-exists but doesn’t exactly love. So, while she would be probably be happiest as an only cat, she can live with another feline who gives her space.
Candy is now very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and virus-tested. She suffered frostbite on her ears, so they look funny, but her hearing is just fine. Her adoption fee of $95 benefits the rescued pets of Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control. To meet and possible adopt Candy, please contact her foster mom Kathy at kbwilson60612@yahoo.com - she is being fostered in the Beverly neighborhood of Chicago.
