Mina's Story...
Mina #1911 is an adorable 5-month-old female, Beagle mix. She is so sweet, and loves to cuddle. Mina is almost kennel and leash trained. She is working on basic commands. She still has a lot of puppy left in her, so she will still need a lot of reinforced training. Mina loves playing with other dogs, and does even better outside when she has room to roam. She currently weighs just over 15 pounds and is not expected to weigh over 50 pounds full grown. Just like any puppy, this pup will need a loving home with an adopter that has the time to commit to continued puppy training to assist with house, leash and obedience training. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions. See our Facebook page for updates: www.facebook.com/LCARMD

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mina, a Waldorf Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
