Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Trixie and Comet were adopted together from Penny Angels Beagle Rescue in June 2013, but they now need to find another place to live. They are listed as a Courtesy Posting and are not with PABR; they will remain with their current owner until they find the right home. If you are interested in learning more about Trixie or Comet, please call Elyse at 609-402-2332 or email elyse1119@yahoo.com.
This is what was written about Trixie and Comet: “Trixie (age 3, about 34 lbs.) and Comet (age 2, about 37 lbs.) are healthy, good natured treeing walker coonhounds that have come a long way since being rescued from North Carolina over a year ago. They are mother and son and should be adopted together if at all possible. They are both house trained, friendly, and good with children. Trixie is calm by nature and slow to warm up to people. Comet is active and carefree; he follows directions and will sit, lie down, and give a paw on command. Both dogs respond to the command, "feet", to stop to wipe their paws upon entering the house. When in the yard, a high fence is needed to keep them confined as they are great climbers. Comet pulls a lot when out for walks and does better with a harness. Both dogs need a substantial amount of land to run and play. They run very fast and enjoy long walks and runs; they have to be on a leash because they are hounds and will follow their noses and run off without warning.”
“Trixie and Comet are crate trained and seem to enjoy going into their crate together when they are left alone. They do like to chew, but they are good about chewing only their own things as long as they aren't left alone in the house. They are both altered and up-to-date on their vaccinations. Trixie and Comet are loving and affectionate. They enjoy being pet, are good about taking baths, and are fantastic dogs in general. If you would like to adopt Trixie and Comet, please call Elyse at 609-402-2332 or email elyse1119@yahoo.com for more information.”
A small donation to Penny Angels Beagle Rescue (cash or check) is required for adoption, but in return, you will receive 2 wonderful dogs, an extra-large crate, leashes, a dog run, and food bowls. Thank you!!
