Cassie is an approximately 1 yr old Boxer/ Aussie Cattle dog mix found as a stray in southern IN. She looks like a tiny boxer! She has the most gorgeous brown merle coat, a stubby tail, one brown eye and one cracked eye (1/2 blue and 1/2 brown)! She is very unique. She's about 30 lbs. Cassiopeia is a very sweet girl that just wants to be loved. Once you gain her trust, the little nubbin of her tail never stops moving!
Cassiopeia is currently housed with 3 other dogs and has decided that keeping canine order is her "job". She plays intensely with the youngest dog and intimidates the overly aggressive dog into calming down when play gets too rough. She’s also been reported to do well with cats. Cassie plays with toys and chews on antlers but hasn’t learned to jump into cars yet, tho she rides well once in. Cassie climbs stairs without issue.
As a part Aussie Cattle dog, Cassie is high energy and would do best in an active household that would make Cassie a part of daily activity. Bonus points for another dog that she can play with. She would make a great work companion. Cassie is very food motivated. Loves cheese & venison chips, doesn’t like apples!
