I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Shilo's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Shilo's Story...
Meet Shilo! She's about 10 years old, and is a jack russell mix. She was recently surrendered to the shelter my her owner, who was moving and couldn't take her. So now Shilo is in search of a new place to call home. She's not here alone though. Her best friend Zero is also here looking for a new home! Zero is about 12 years old and is a terrier / papillion mix. Both Zero and Shilo are great little dogs, who deserve a wonderful forever home to spend their golden years in.

Shilo is up to date on shots, spayed, and has a microchip. Now all she's waiting for is a family of her own to come adopt her.....and Zero of course! Could that family be YOURS?? The shelter is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1-5, Tuesday and Thursday from 1-8, and Saturday from 10-2. Come visit!

You can see some of our adoptable pets almost every Saturday at the Petsmart in Greensburg from noon to 6pm and some Sundays too. All adoption fees include spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shilo, a Youngwood Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Youngwood, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Youngwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
