Missy's Story...
Missy is a female Blue Point Himalayan. She is used to being in a home with other cats and a bird and she is litter box trained. She is extremely shy and would do best in a quiet home with a person looking for a very quiet cat. Missy does not have much interaction but we do not feel that justifies euthanasia. She simply needs a cat person that understands her quiet personality and can offer a place to live. She is up to date with her rabies vaccination and spayed. She is 13 years old. Missy is searching for that special someone that understands her and will love her forever.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Missy, a McCormick Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in McCormick, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in McCormick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McCormick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McCormick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McCormick paves the way for another one to be saved.
