Ashes's Story...
HI there, my name is Ashes…….I had a very rough start to life and I’m hoping that I can find a family to call my own.

You see, I was a FREE TO GOOD HOME kitten gone wrong. The family that took me home didn’t get me spayed, didn’t get me shots and when the kids in the home were less than nice to me, they tossed me outside. That is a very scary place to be when you’re a timid little girl…

Thankfully my foster Mom & Dad stepped in and brought me to their house. Now that I feel safe and loved, I’ve learned that I really like to play with my furry mice, my laser toy is an all time favorite and I LOVE for my foster Dad to pet, brush and give me loves. I guess you’d call me a “DADDY’S GIRL”.

I think in my new FUREVER HOME I would love a quieter home, preferably without any small children that might want to chase me and a home without other kitties. I really need a Daddy to call my own as well.

So, if you’re looking for a cute little girl that just needs time to settle in to her new home, then HERE I AM. (Birthday: 2009)

If you would like to meet this cutie pie, please call Cathy at (661) 273-9822 or email her at for an Adoption Application and additional information.

*All Cats & Kittens are spayed/neutered - vaccinated - dewormed - vet checked - Felv/FIV Combo Tested and microchipped. Each Cat or Kitten comes with a FREE bag of food and a goodie bag worth $10.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ashes, a Palmdale Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Palmdale, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Palmdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palmdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palmdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palmdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
