Poor Lennon came to us with an itchy yeast infection on his skin that caused him to scratch his hair off in places. He's receiving medicated baths and eating special food (science diet ZD dog food) and is improving greatly. The vet wasn't sure if the skin issue was from a food allergy or a flea allergy. His hair will grow back, and with the right food to maintain this shouldn't be an issue but any adopter should be prepared and committed to purchasing the special food which is pricier than average just in case it is a food allergy. The vet has said that once his skin is completely healed he could try some different foods to see if there is another food he tolerates well.

He is a super sweet and playful, great dog who loves attention and affection (and toys!). He would be good for an active family or adopter. Lennon is ready for his forever home! Email adoptapupanimalrescue@gmail.com for an application to adopt Lennon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lennon, a Laingsburg Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Laingsburg, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Laingsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Laingsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Laingsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Laingsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
