Poor Lennon came to us with an itchy yeast infection on his skin that caused him to scratch his hair off in places. He's receiving medicated baths and eating special food (science diet ZD dog food) and is improving greatly. The vet wasn't sure if the skin issue was from a food allergy or a flea allergy. His hair will grow back, and with the right food to maintain this shouldn't be an issue but any adopter should be prepared and committed to purchasing the special food which is pricier than average just in case it is a food allergy. The vet has said that once his skin is completely healed he could try some different foods to see if there is another food he tolerates well.
He is a super sweet and playful, great dog who loves attention and affection (and toys!). He would be good for an active family or adopter. Lennon is ready for his forever home! Email adoptapupanimalrescue@gmail.com for an application to adopt Lennon!
