Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Trooper is a sweet and loving German Shepherd that is 2-3 years old. He was saved from a high kill shelter in California and brought to Michigan, fully vetted and now he is ready to find a forever family of his own. He is good with other dogs and loves being with people. Trooper loves his people so much that he gets anxious when they leave. After getting left behind by his previous owners, can you blame him? Separation anxiety is not difficult to overcome with patience and consistency. Once he gets comfortable and settles in, this will subside. He does NOT display the separation anxiety in his current foster home since he is comfortable there. He just needs to learn that he's loved and that his people will always come back to him! We will only consider applications who are willing to give Trooper at least a week to settle in and overcome his fear of being left behind forever.
Adopt A Pup Animal Rescue does not have a physical shelter location, all of our pets are in foster homes. To meet one of our animals, you will need to fill out an application. After your application is reviewed, one of our volunteers will contact you to set up a time for you to meet the pet.
