Hi! My name is Grizzly and my heart is broken. My owner is losing his battle with cancer, leaving me and Dusty homeless. I am 12 years old, but I'm healthy and happy and just want someone to love and a safe place where I can spend my golden years. I'm a really great dog. I am housetrained. I have a calm, mellow, laid back personality. I was found when I was two months old with my mom Dusty. Our owner kept us both and we've had a wonderful life, but we're not done yet. Please give us a home where we can stay together and live out the rest of the time we have, rolling in the grass, digging in the snow, being a heartbeat at your feet and someone to smile with every day. Registration opens at 5 p.m. Game play begins at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome. We will have food, raffle table, 50/50, adoptable pets, Scentsy sale and more! The bar will be open for drink purchases too. If you haven't played BUNCO, which is a very simple and super fun dice game, you haven't lived! It won't take you but a moment to learn the game and away we go, laughing, playing and raising money for the homeless pets of Paws for Life. See you December 7th in Rochester!
Adoption and Foster Care Application
Adoption Process:Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
