Ollie's Story...
Hi there, I am Ollie. I am 10 months old (as of November 2014) and I weigh 36 pounds. I am new to Baywater and I am shy and scared. I tend to hide in a corner or under my bed when I get scared. I am friendly and love my chest rubbed. I need a home with a patient family that understands I will need time to adjust. I do get along with other dogs, and I currently have a roommate. I like to lay on the couch and nap. I hope that you will give me a chance!

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ollie, a Cambridge Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Cambridge, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Cambridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cambridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cambridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cambridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
