Princess's Story...
Princess #2033 is a sweet 3-year-old female, Pomeranian mix. She is a little shy at first, but warms up quickly; she loves to snuggle. Princess is kennel and leash trained, and knows some basic commands. Once comfortable, she aims to please and thrives for attention. Princess loves to play with other dogs. This little cutie is full grown; she weighs just over 12 pounds. We believe you can always teach an “old” dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions. See our Facebook page for updates: www.facebook.com/LCARMD

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a Waldorf Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
