My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bridget's adoption fee is $375.
Hi my name is Bridget and I am a 2 yr. old French Bulldog. I’m presently living with my foster mom, her dog and 2 cats, and we get along really well. Due to my past life, I am very shy and timid around strangers, and am very slow to make friends. Everyone who lives in my foster mom’s apartment building tries very hard to make me welcome, and I am slowly coming around with the ladies, but the men still make me very nervous. I am spayed, up to date on vaccines and micro chipped. My skin was very bad due to a severe flea allergy – it’s healed nicely now, but I may always have some areas where the hair won’t grow back.
Like a lot of ladies, I have a problem with my weight, and I am trying to lose a few pounds (I weigh about 29 pounds at the moment, but that’s our secret, okay?) I’m doing well thanks to the help of my foster mom watching my diet. My favorite things are going for walks (I dance when my leash comes out), and cuddling on the couch watching TV or sleeping. I sleep through the night and share the bed with my foster mom and her dog. Be warned though, like most snub-nosed dog breeds, I have a powerful snore and I snort a lot too! I walk well on leash, but everything is a new experience for me, and sometimes I will cross in front of you – you have to keep an eye on me.
My ideal home would be one with easy access to a yard and one where my new family will continue to help me with my house training (I sometimes will have accidents and don’t know how to ask to go outside), and I’d probably be best with older children as sudden movements make me very nervous. I am crate trained, but it would be best if my new family has someone home most of the time. My foster mom says I’m a very loving little girl who is well behaved and minds very well and I’m hoping someone out there would like to give me my loving forever home.
