Gamora's Story...
Gamora is fostered in Huntsville, AL and is the life of the party! She is a brown tabby, but has some unique markings that separate her from the rest – she has circles instead of stripes!! All 2 lbs. of her can keep up with her bigger brother, entertain herself, and snuggle with you all in the same hour. She has chewed the whiskers off her brother, Star Lord, but if you don’t have a set of whiskers to chew, don’t worry, she is easily entertained with a crunchy ball. Quite the kitten! But she is sweet as can be and looks forward to a quiet moment, tucked under your chin, watching your favorite tv show. If you would like to meet this sweet baby or have any questions, please email info@forrescue.net. You may also complete an application at http://forrescue.net/cat-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gamora, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
