Trinket's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Trinket's Story...
Weighing in at only 3.3 lbs, Trinket is a tiny little sprite who is super sweet and quiet. Trinket gets along with small dogs and cats but is recovering from bite wounds from a larger dog so would prefer an adult only home with no larger dogs due to her petite size. She is fully house broken, recently spayed and had her teeth cleaned, super quiet (we have never heard her bark yet), and wants to be right with you so would love a person who wants a constant companion. She sleeps in her little bed with her blanket all night without moving as long as she is near you. If you are looking for a settled, gentle older chi (we think she is around 7 years old) who is a perfect little lady, Trinket is your gal! If you are interested in adopting Trinket, please fill out an application on our website at www.RescueAChi.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trinket, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
