My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Olivia. I'm named after a piglet who has a series of kids books. My foster mom read one of her books to me and I decided I like being her name sake. I'm in a foster home with a bunch of other dogs. They're fine, but I like the people best. I love to be pet and will wag my tail with all my might when my people come home.

I hurt my eye at TGP and now it's infected. The doctor hopes she can fix it, but they aren't sure yet. When they were checking my eye, the found out I have a pretty bad heart murmur, so they're a little worried about that too. I'm looking for someone who will love, love, love me, whether I have one eye or two, for as long as my heart holds out. I promise to love you back.

Olivia is not quite 2. Her small dog status is unknown, but she is not cat tolerant.

FOSTER UPDATE:

Olivia is a sweet girl who likes to be the center of attention. Her nickname is Princess. Olivia is a typical greyhound in that she spends most of her time napping. She likes to go for walks and is fine in the car. She likes to collect personal items like shoes and socks but doesn't chew on them. Olivia has mastered the dog door.

Olivia needs eye drops several times a day and is on a variety of medications right now. Testing revealed she has a congenital heart defect that will "significantly reduce" her life span.
