Fredrika's Info...

Fredrika's Story...
This darlin' babe is up for adoption! Fredrika is a 3 month old kitten who was originally a country girl in Lakeview OR. She is now ready for life in the big city where she hears she will be pampered and adored! She is super well socialized with people and other kitties and we bet she would learn to appreciate dogs as well. Because she is such a youngster it is important that she goes to a home that already has another animal or be adopted with one of her feline companions. Want to meet Fredrika to see if she's the one you have been waiting for? Visit the Pixie Project Tues-Fri 11-6 and Sat 11-4. She is fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $135. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fredrika, a Portland Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Portland, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
