Hi, My name is Moxie.
I am a five year old Harlequin Great Dane, and I am looking for my perfect forever home.
I come with no health issues (other than being a tad thick in the middle.. I love my food).
Every dog in foster care has a story right? Well mine is that I am a complete lady. I won’t chew or potty in our home, and I love to go on walks.
My foster mom wants everyone who considers me to know a few things.——-
I am a snuggle bunny who will keep her human smiling.
I don't bark to go out to potty, I will get close to you and kiss you lightly on the nose!
I will greet you at the door with my tail waggin ready to listen about your day.
I am ok with laying by your feet, or even right next to you with my head in your lap.
My foster mom wants you to promise you will kiss my nose, rub behind my ears, and tell me I am a good girl often cause I love that.
Now what my foster mom really wants to let everyone know is.. I am gentle soul that startles easy. I love woman, but I am scared of men. So a companion dog for a lady would fit great for me :)
I won't bite, I am too gentle for that, but I will run from almost any man, unless my human is right beside me. I will be nervous when we first meet, don't let that fool you!
I like mature youths who doesn’t make a lot of fast movements, but young and immature children makes me nervous.
Once I know that you are a nice person and I let my guard down.. I am the most loving baby you will find.
