Meet Libby!         DOB: June 2011

Patiently waiting for a “furever” home of her very own, Libby is a sweetheart who is shy, mild manner, well behaved, and has a gentle soul with a truly loving nature. When she first arrived at the shelter she was a little overwhelmed, very scared and would run and hide every time you entered the room. She has a come a long way on her journey in that she is now learning to trust people and will stand her ground and watch you. When approached slowly she will happily take treats from your hand and is starting to enjoy human touch and petting. She is excellent with other cats and would do well with in mutli-cat home or in a single cat home. Libby will need a special owner who is patient, understanding and loving to help her develop her trust levels and confidence. If you want to be that special person to give Libby the ”furever” home she has never know and always dreamed of, please fill out an adoption application and contact us.

About North Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

North Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered Canadian charrity made up of dedicated volunteers concerned with the welfare of all cats and kittens. We rescue, foster, provide veterinary care (including blood testing, vaccines and spay/neuter) and arrange adoptions for abandoned or rescue felines.

For ten years, North Toronto Cat Rescue has been helping hundreds of souls in need wherever we find them, offering love, nourishment, safety, medical care and the hope of a "forever" home.

We are not a spay/neuter and release group as we believe all these animals deserve comfot, warmth and love, particularly during the long cold winter days here in Canada. They will remain with us until they find a permanent home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Currently, we have a private Shelter for our animals so it is by appointment only. However we also have a partnership with Pet Value in Aurora (Bayview and Aurora Road) where many cats and kittens are also housed.

We attend local Fairs, Events such as "All About Pets" Show in Toronto, for example, and other fund-raising events during the year in the Toronto area.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adooption contract is found on-line.
