Huck and Finn's Story...
We are Huck and Finn! Two very sweet pure bred Golden Retriever boys looking for a new life - together. We are inseparable! We are just about 3 years old, a little on the underweight side, somewhat small for male goldens. We are also shy with new people but warm up quickly once we get used to you. Of and being inside a house is kind of new for us. We require a secured fenced in yard, preferably with a doggie door so can take the "inside" at our own pace. We are both very healthy and quite beautiful. We love children too!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Huck and Finn, a Knoxville Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
